A decade ago Twilight was the biggest phenomenon since the original Star Wars. Surpassing Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings in popularity. But now everybody looks back at it like why the fuck was I so obsessed with this? Oh my god I hate myself now.

BTS is the biggest phenomenon since H.O.T. Surpassing TVXQ and EXO in popularity. But ten years from now everybody will look back at it like why the fuck was I so obsessed with this group? Oh my god I hate myself now.

I think former ARMYs will looks at their old stan tweets and cringe and some will probably fall out of love with the music but psychologically, we are most likely to keep the strangest attachment to the music we listen to when we're 14 which I feel like is a LARGE number of their current fan base. I think BTS are probably gonna be able to keep their work going for the rest of their lives, just like western groups like Take That, New Kids On The Block or Backstreet Boys. Eventually, their new stuff will start to get less and less hype, probably once they start enlisting but they'll always be able to tour on their back catalogue.

Look at One Direction, they had their ten year anniversary and they've trended on social media for almost a week and they haven't even been together for YEARS! They have literally been trending on YouTube in the UK for DAYS with a fucking MONTAGE and it's not even new footage and I feel like the ARMYs are currently bigger than Directioners were back in the day so God only knows what will happen with BTS if they can manage to keep their shit together...

A lot of ARMY aren’t teenagers anymore. I know a lot of boomers ARMY beginning with the sweet housewife that I met at Stade de France and who is in her forties but was singing BTS songs with her ARMY bomb and seemed so genuinely happy. I won’t ever forget her smile. She was a true ray of sunshine.

After seven years passed with BTS, I still consider them as great artists and human beginnings. I have a lot of admiration for them. I was a teenager, a child when I discovered them and now I am a young woman. If I could say something to them then I would thank them because they helped me throughout my life.

They depict the difficulty of being a young adult in our modern life so well and theirs songs are very healing and universal. That’s why so many people love them. Theirs songs are a home for ARMYs and I think that it’s never going to change for many fans. They make me smile and I hope that they will stay together a long time as they hinted to it several times.

100% and I think they have a better chance of longevity too because the members are a lot less eager to go solo than in 1D.
