like I know that Seulgi was part of the subunit with Irene but genuinely if there was any order on how things should have gone, it should have been Wendy, Seulgi, and then Joy for solos???

Like, you are taking this member who is clearly meant to be a good performer and has really nice vocals but won't give her a solo? even though Joy is already getting her activities with acting anyways?

absolutely no hate to Joy as I love her as well, but wtf is SM doing? Especially since we had the rumors that Seulgi would become a soloist first too?

For me, it makes sense that Joy would get her solo first. Seulgi has had a lot of activities but Joy hasn't had a lot to do besides her acting which she only began/will begin this year. Plus it's a smart tactic to build momentum for her upcoming drama. More people will want to see her on their TV screens if they become a fan of her through her solo. Either way, I'm excited for Joy's solo and Seulgi's if she even wants to make one.

Because Joy's OST last year was the best performing solo song from an SM artist or Irene & Seulgi. Way better than the reviews for her acting gigs years ago, which were horrible. SM is finally doing the right thing and striking while she's got a lot of momentum. Even now, can it really be considered a proper solo debut with a bunch of remakes and remixes?

Joy may not best Seulgi in any areas but she's still a powerhouse of her own. Her voice is gorgeous and probably the most universally appealing of the group, her stage presence is great and nobody in this gen has as much potential to be a Lee Hyori level master of the sexy concept, should she choose that route.

I feel like Seulgi needs just one more big push before her solo and Wendy really should have been pushed more before hers

My RV faves are, in order: Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy/Yeri but i can also see the point of Joy getting a solo debut(even if its remakes/not originals) before Seulgi.

SM is striking while Joy is fire hot from her OST/acting while Seulgi is hosting a web music rediscovery show(Wise Music Encyclopedia - with Kim Zakka), somewat like Wendy's Mysterious Record Shop but with Seulgi's own flavor.

But pls after Joy's solo, Palli Palli can SM give us a RV cb soon after tat? If its too soon, maybe a Seulgi/Yerim sub-unit cos, ya know-reasons....exercise for the reader. Or Yerim solo after Joy's. Same reason......exercise for the reader to make own conclusion. Tat is all. See my first sentence for my sentiments on the matter.

Joy has a lot of potential so I can see SM wanting to build on that, I'm more upset that they're having her solo debut with an album full of remakes just wtf
As for Seulgi I think her solo is coming too since the subunit with Irene is probably done now so she should be fine. I'm more concerned about RV's future as a group.
