I LOVE spicy food and feel like I can handle it pretty well, although when I was younger I know I was really sensitive to anything with just a little bit of spice.

I love spicy food! My friend and I actually went for hot pot for the first time this last weekend and the waitress told us, when I asked about spice level, that she could only eat the mild because it was very spicy. We ordered mild and I honestly could have gone for medium or hot. My nose was running and I coughed every time I inhaled too vigorously, but it was wonderful!

The funny thing is I am the whitest person ever, so people are often surprised when I go for spicy food. It took forever for me to get the local Indian place to actually make my curries hot enough. I still order them extra spicy and end up horribly disappointed.

My guess is they're used to toning down the heat because this is the Midwest, where some folks think ketchup is too intense. I'd really like to visit various places in Asia so I can taste things at full spice level. I've had ghost pepper salsa and been totally fine.

have you ever had it as it is before? I tried it once in India, was in tears lmao. Of course, I only took a tiny nibble, there was no way I'd have eaten the whole thing, it's actually bad for you.

I can handle spicy food (Latina background) but I’m more of a sweet tooth. But there was one time where I had hotpot with my friends but it was way too spicy for all of us. My nose was runy and I could feel the tears falling down.

I've actually had a hot sauce that was 6 million Scoville units (I think habañero and reaper based), that was the closest I've ever come to death via spice, I honestly almost vomited. ahhhh, I have a weak stomach too, but one nibble barely did anything to me lol, but I hate hot sauces, except sriracha. they just taste weird to me, and have no substantial feeling? to them, like eating air, it's weird lol

I like a well made hot sauce, the problem is a lot of them on the extreme end only go for heat and not flavour. They also tend to use capsaicin extract instead of peppers, which means they taste like garbage and pain.
