This happens way too often in fandoms, they try to tear down other fandoms to boost their own. And tbh it’s infuriating. Can’t people just appreciate what they like without it becoming such a big deal?

I think it first starts off as wanting to share how much they like their own faves, but then it kind of switches to people feeling insulted on behalf of their faves. It’s really odd.

i dont comment on outside my fandoms' tweets/instas/sns but iv noticed outside my fandoms commenting on my fandoms' tweets/posts-i used to snark bk but iv stopped bothering. After a while its just newer n newer kids who hvnt gotten over being all edge-lord-y. After umpteen times telling kids to get off my lawn, i just burned my lawn n now no kids step on my lawn-problem solved!​
