How do I give away cards for free?

Just leave the card you'll receive part blank in the form

Okay maybe I'm just SLOW but what do the numbers on the cards represent? like lets use IU for example. there is IU 1, IU 2, IU 3, IU 4, IU 5.
and what is the difference between getting an IU 1 or IU 2 or IU 3, etc. card? is IU 1 more rare than IU 5? does it work like that, ranking it from 1 to 5? or does it not mean anything?

They're just 5 different cards, they're equally common. The reason we have 5 is to make a set for soloists too, rather than have only one soloist card.

Done but just a heads up we'll probably be putting a rule in place stopping you from giving yourself the cards, we don't want people using alts just to get double the cards you know?

Even if the rules disallow giving urself the card from ur alt, wats to stop the alt from trading it with another user then the other user trading it with the original user?

Either way, im fine the card staff allow it for all users or no users' alts, i hope its just be equally fair to all users abt this.

I dont blame rand as he had no bad intentions/long term plans to take over the card world intentionally do anything wrong here, just nobody thot abt this preexisting loophole yet. Not even overthinker/anal-retentive minded me LOL. Maybe a rule tat an alt give away/trade away their cards at all, just hv the pleasure of owning it, since the effort of creating 3 threads +20 posts is reward in itself is contributory to KS n deserves to hv a fair shot at earning cards. Also/or if the user is locked out of his original acct for the time during daily quest, the alt can do the daily quest n then transfer the threads n posts to the original user after unlocking just not 2 cards during the same 24 hr period(only if transferring threads n posts if technically feasible ofc, since no bad intentions on the original user's part). Just spitballing here, it was too much in my mind not to post my ideas, its not a rule i think of as a must, just my idea/suggestion for the future. N to let users know in advance in case anybody (else other than me) is a rules-lawyer, looking for loopholes in the trading card game. (I dont hv any ideas for loopholes, i get struck by ideas randomly or inspired by things like rand's situation earlier this am{my time} n an idea striking me).

This is a good idea, and a rule that most users will probably accept.

But from the time stamp @NASA already gave rand a card today n then u gave iwantcards after ta, i think. Which is why/how i got the ideas tat popped up in my head after reading ur reply in the request thread which i quoted above. Since i dont believe retroactive applications of rules are a good idea, if u decide to implement a new rule from now on or later, i think it shdnt apply to this 1 specific instance b4 the rule is set, however rand offered to give the card bk n if u implement the rule of not having 2 cards in 1 day after now, if rand gives bk his card then i dont think its retroactive application of a rule. Since he offered spontaneouesly. (I dont think most ks users r as quibbling as me, but since i felt the sting of the rules recently i hope u give my post due consideration, not becos im being petty abt it but future users can then say precedent if they ever see rand's n ur posts, even if they nvr read mine).

I would have let rand keep it if he wanted to, since he offered to take it back though I did just to make things easier. But yeah since the rule wasn't in place yet he would have been allowed to keep it had he wanted to.

This is why my two previous posts were so long n i coundnt TLDR/summarise, too many loopholes (dw i cant even barely think of 3 threads a day let alone 6 threads so im not doing it today)

But i also believe any rules abt alts/cards shd go into effect until start of next period of daily task/quest in case a user is in midst of daily tasks.

Its good rand offered but next user to find a loophole might argue (not me, i take the good n the bad{hopefully respectfully, this is just me being anally retentive/overthinking). I dint read if this was in the rules: "the final decision over any disputes by the cards staff/team is final and should be accepted by all users or the penalty will be suspension/banned from the trading card game."

If you include this wording already or put it in immediately i wont hv any more comments about retroactive applications of the rules. (Pls define dispute n other forms of protest/complaints if possible, it can be amended over time like the rules for wps/banning/suspension.) If no protests or complaints about unfair treatment in the trading card game(not tat i think there hv ever been so far) are allowed you might consider makibg it clearer since im notvsure how clear it is now.(more for future users who arent used to ks forum i think most or all current users even newish user are chill abt it(i hope im been chill abt it sobfar). Thnx.

This is a good point, but it's still one card per day right? Thus, if you earn a card on say, your alt account due to completing a daily task, but want it on your main account instead at some point, you could find someone who might be willing to help you out... So, you trade that card from your alt account to another user, then they trade that card to your main account... Therefore making a loophole in the "you cannot trade cards between your accounts".

However, why would you do that anyway? If you want a card on your main account, just use it to complete the task. That card you want to swap with yourself is the only card you would have earned per KST day regardless of what account you got it on. Why go through the trouble of swapping?

As long as it's just one card earned per day, is that loophole such a big problem?

@Cards Team would have to think about this loophole and decide if earning cards on an alt account is something that should be allowed. So far it hasn't (as Rand gave his back from his alt). So if the decision from here is no alt accounts can earn cards, then I guess no one should have issues.

But unless I'm missing something, I don't think this loophole would mean much at all as it's just one card a day that can be earned. If people actually use a middle man to swap a card from alt account to main or vice-versa, it doesn't mean much?

The biggest problem with this whole thing is; duplicates. What if a user earns a card via task completion or trade, but they have that same card on their other account? Would that be a big problem? Would the Cards Team have to check both accounts of a user every time to ensure that they can't earn or be traded a duplicate card? This might be too much for Cards to keep track of, unless checking both accounts of a user is quick and easy?

You raised a good point though. It certainly made me think hard about the loophole and the advantages it could have afforded people.


It's up to Card Team to decide, but no one has earnt anything they shouldn't have. So if there's any adjustment made to the rules, no one will be negatively affected.

Oh, i dont think any current or recent users here would do anything at all like wat i mentioned earluer, as i said i wouldnt hv posted all my earlier posts here today if i had read the amended OP. I kinda wish now i hadnt or dint include a guide for future users/card gamers to think of ways to game the system-tats kinda my point tho, i think of myself as if not a white hat hacker, then as a thinker of ways to break the cards game systems so tat the cards team can make it stronger against ppl who think as i do but would take advamtage of it instead of informing the cards team so tat the cards team can protect the system. Tats just my nature. Ok, tat was too long so ill end here. Thnx.

Imagine opening a thread because you actually have twice the same IU card and want another one:
"Trading IU for IU, I have the card with blonde hairstyle and I want the cute one, cause I want to complete my set!"
Just way easier to talk about the cards aswell.

so yesterday after 4pm, i did not do the daily tasks because of life happening
the 24 hours have not passed yet as it is 11:30 am almost over here

doesn't that mean if i do the 20 posts now with the threads before 4pm i can get a card STILL?
AND after all that done before 4pm reset, AFTER 4 pm reset i can do it all over again and get a second card TODAY? as the card clock has reset then right?
i can still get my card of yesterday because its not 4pm yet and after 4pm get another one if i do the daily tasks again

The KST day right now is 16th Dec, and it's 9PM there. So you have 3 hours to make those threads, comment 20 times then ask for a card if you haven't already got on from this day. Just make sure card team knows what day it's for as if they award you the card it might confuse them if...

How do I know this? Because I've done once it before. I was really late once and did the task at the very end of the KST day. Then a few hours later I did the task again on the new KST day.
