Censorship in General (1 Viewer)

In music I don't mind it within reason.
but movies/anime it really bugs me

Just keep it as the norm.
censorship is just like a fly you need to spray.

Who else feels this way?

makes it weird where songs are censored but a few aren't
like just do one thing don't complicate it.

speaking for manga to anime adaptations, & depending on what is being censored, imo they should have 2 versions (if it's not complicated to do...) one censored for the people who need it, and one original staying faithful to the content its adapting like yaaaaaaa a lot of animes just water down the original content and the feeling and emotion of the original panels is totally lost when they censor it.......

It’s complicated. Yeah in theory censorship is pretty bad. But the lack of it can be bad too. For example, hate speech being censored I feel can be more understandable. Some people may not even think that’s censorship but it is. Being discriminatory to others in general isn’t great but if you want to avoid censorship there’s no choice but to let it run amok. That can lead to all kinds of terrible things. So yeah, it’s not as straightforwards as it may seem imo

Yes in parts it is needed
definitely hate speech should be
And I do not think it needs a reason to be
since it is pretty self explanatory

i see facebook has it so you cannot say certain thing

yeah it does feels weird when you listen to music but there's censorship in it, it ruins the song imo
