Sensitive Cervical cancer campaigner Vicky Phelan dies aged 48 (1 Viewer)

Vicky was one of hundreds of women who were given incorrect smear test results before 2018, which led to many of them developing terminal cervical cancer. She was the face of the campaign for women to get equity from the scandal and better CervicalCheck services. She changed the women’s health system for the better and without her the scandal would’ve never been uncovered and many more women could’ve died. RIP a true hero🕊
