I think most theories don't believe that bats were what made people sick. The coronavirus is very similar to bat diseases but it's more likely that it was carried from bats to another host, which then was carried to humans through the intermediate host. Honestly the bigger issue is that animals who have no business living in the same environment are forced to because of deforestation and whatnot, which leads to more of these types of diseases due to the interactions between them. I'm not saying that it wouldnt help to eliminate wild animal trade, but these kinds of things can happen with domestic ones too. Take bird flu, it's highly deadly and lives in poultry. But we wouldn't stop eating it.

It's Pangolins that are believed to carry the coronavirus as well which I heard aren't legal to sell in China and while deforestation doesn't help, the conditions these wet markets are kept in are totally unsanitary and makes it way way easier for these kinds of interactions to happen versus say bird flu which we have specific farms for those animals.

Well I'm not saying that the other countries weren't late at finding solutions, but the first cases appeared in China way before they announced them. The doctors tried to announce and they got charged by police... and now I lost all my respect with those damn markets being open again

I get that, and I'm against wet markets, and all inhuman practices anywhere in world, but what I'm trying to say is this: Even if China announced the existence and danger of this virus in, let's say, September, I'm 100% sure other countries wouldn't have done shit. Why? Because it would have been considered a hoax propagated by China to slow down world economies. Hell, too many governments think so now, at this very moment, and refuse to take any measures at all. In April. Because money >>> human lives, apparently. But it's easier for our governments to shift all blame to China then to admit their own shocking incompetence and disregard for human lives.

Oh yeah, I agree with you. In UK they waited a lot until they actually got some measures. And most countries weren't ready for a disaster like this, even if it was predicted a long time ago and all researchers advised that a pandemic can start at any point. Now I'm mad on Chinese gov because they opened the wet markets again, even if in 2003 SARS started in a market like that and now Covid-19. Plus it's horrible what's happening there...

Also, all viruses (covid-19, SARS, Mers, Bird Flu, Ebola, etc) are patented by governments and that is why a Chinese doctor was trying to warn the world about what was happening before he mysteriously died...hmm.
