I don’t think their music has gone as downhill as it’s said to be. I liked 2019 mamamoo, same with 2020. And what they did in 2021 was a nice way to celebrate their 7th anniversary

It was hard to pick one tbh
If I were to rank their skills, it’d be:
Dance: Slightly above average
I think I they’re great dancers because IMO 6/9 members Momo Jihyo Sana Mina Nayeon Tzuyu could have dance positions, which is rare to see in groups.
Vocals: Average
Outside of 3Mix yes the rest are technique wise weak but they’re not so bad to the point where Sana or Dahyun’s voice is unlistenable, and Michaeng would be good lead vocals
Rap: Below average
DubChaeng have their good raps, but most of the time they’re thrown in randomly, and Momo doesn’t really rap either. I always think of Chae as wasted potential, but maybe in a different company Dahyun could’ve been better too

WJSN: Even though I’m not a fan of Chocome’s music, I think WJSN’s subunits are interesting. I like the stark contrast of the two, and it’d be so cool to see them having more activities
Seventeen: Not to be cliché, but I think Don’t Wanna Cry will always be their best title, followed by Ready to love

wjsn: hard agree (except i love chocome's music), and i wish the black get a comeback before feb 2023.... (the time we're all dreading because of the possibility of the d-word)
svt: i think dwc is their worst title, but it's not bad by any means. it was simply following a trend i dislike, nothing to do about it. rtl is a good song, and imo carats hate on it a bit too much (but pointing out how it has a whole host of people credited on it, including bang pd, is definitely valid, seeing how svt have always been self producing)
