I did see on Twitter a post saying she cried although that was no time mentioned about this so I don't know if it was recent or a while ago, hopefully now she's at peace though and SM tries to take more care of their artists mental health as apparently an actor from SM also commited suicide in 2017 so that makes 3 in 2 years

Why is it always men? I know for sure that women are even worse towards other women. Can't we just collectively agree that both genders and both Koreans and international fans contributed to this? I absolutely despise how international fans portray themselves as holier than thou in such situations but when you read the comments on sites like NB, they really start to get to you mentally, as a fan. The fact that she had to endure this so long is the saddest part of it all. In Korea depression is seen as a weakness, all her quirky and weird posts were her way of screaming for help, but instead, she got ridiculed because she was never understood. And as much as I hate to say this, it won't be the last death, because nothing has changed since Jonghyun's death. All these words about 'we need to get these idols help' are meaningless if these idols have no one to reach to.

I feel like this has more to do than just hate comments... she probably suffered from some kind of mental illness. And we really don't know if someone was around her to take care of her or not.


Rip this is really heartbreaking for me espeically since I suffer from bipolar and there are times where I can't stop thinking about ending my life.

It started mostly when she left f(x). People disliked that she left the group for "her boyfriend".

Then when she started being herself on Social Media, having fun and being free, people started attacking her because they thought she was being over the top. They hated most of the things she posted, for no reason. And when she stood up for herself expressing she's living freely, she got more hate from her haters etc.

I think it's more than just her haters that got to her. Unfortunately this happens far too much in SK, no matter who you are. I hope the K-pop industry and SK wakes up and addresses mental health far more seriously!
