How do you feel about other idols covering songs by your faves? I would prefer that idols/idol groups not cover my fave, mostly because of fans talking about how amazing the cover was and bragging that they'd never bothered to listen to the original.

I love them! It exposes more people to how awesome the song is and I love the different takes different groups can have on the same song.

My faves aren't popular enough to be covered. I don't think I mind it. Shows they admire the artist and it's fun to see a different spin on a song (even if the attempt doesn't always land).

mmm yeah it can go both ways. boa is one of my faves, so naturally everyone and their moms have covered her, which includes most of my faves (of the top of my head, shinee and wjsn have covered girls on top, key covered lookbook, svt have covered no 1, twice have covered my name and valenti, fromis have covered camo), and you know, i don't think anyone doesn't know the original in these cases, and i'm glad to see people covering her and my other faves (shinee too obv, and now the 3rd gen acts like svt are being covered too).

but it is a little annoying to see people not know the original. this happens a lot w s.e.s (i'm a casual). people still think be natural and dreams come true are rv and aespa originals...
