Update with cube's statement:
On September 13, the agency revealed through an official statement, “Cube Entertainment has decided to remove HyunA and E’Dawn [from the company].”

The statement continues, “When managing our artists, the company has worked with faith and trust in each other as the main priority. After much discussion, the judgment was made that it is not possible to recover the faith with the two artists HyunA and E’Dawn, so their removal has been decided.”

“We sincerely thank the two artists and their fans who have been with us until now,” Cube Entertainment concludes.

They made the situation worse. I will be honest, i don’t like Hyuna, but I feel weird. She is old in the industry, and kicking someone out for dating is too much. Idk if Cube knew or not. But probably the big problem was the idea of E’Dawn starting dating as a trainee with his sunbae.

I think its because of how they made cube look likes fools, cube denied & they went to the press after and confirmed relationship, if they didnt do that
i think everything will still be ok.

This is unfortunate. I did see it coming, especially because they will not break up just because Cube wants them to. Hyuna will be fine and she might drag E'Dawn and promote him under her name, but I don't think he will be a successful idol ever again.
