Emu war: plant dudes got mad at giant chickens and told the military it was their problem. The military realized they were pretty bad at it. To this day, they have not recovered their pre chicken war pride.

the "you're fired" man invited some of his mates to his office for a cuppa and bikkie and chat but some mean people tried to prevent them resulting in a bit of a kerfuffle.

The mean people tried to pin the whole fracas on his mates and in the end him and his mates were proven right.

Most of his mates were ultimately held to innocent and/or PARDONED

A group of guys that were up to absolutely no good decided to attack us one day completely out of nowhere. they crashed into a pair of skyscrapers that looked exactly alike (seriously, you'd think they were twins) and a building that unfortunately shares its name with a K-pop group. the sibling buildings crashed down, everybody cried, and one country singer was so moved that he wrote a whole song about it.

I don’t know if you intended to make the first part sound so sarcastic, but it reminds me of sarcastic poor descriptions the Japanese give about the atomic bombs and when you put it that way, it makes the US narrative about the cause of 9/11 seem almost as misguided as the Japanese narrative about ww2. I never realized how they seem compared to each other
