Describe your childhood/teenhood bedroom! (1 Viewer)

Like what did the walls look like, how was it furnished, etc.

The walls in my teenhood bedroom had wallpaper that was sky blue on the top half, white with pink polka dots on the bottom half, and kittens in the center. It had originally been put up by the previous owners (it used to be their little girl's room), and I opted to keep it bc so pretty! And as I got older and more into pop music and fan magazines, I started lining the walls with posters; in fact, there was one wall completely dedicated to the Backstreet Boys. lol

The furniture included a white four-post twin bed, matching nightstand and dresser, an armoire, and a bookshelf. There was also a shelf above my bed where I kept all my Barbies and stuffed animals.

I had bright aqua walls, old ugly yellow carpet, dark brown wood trim, one window, and I removed the dark brown sliding closet doors so I had more room. I put a bunch of those bunny posters on my walls at one point too with a bunch of blue tape. My room was....interesting.

lol mine too! By the time I graduated high school, my room was C O V E R E D in posters! My mom had finally had enough when I was nineteen, so that was when I finally took them all down.

Lavender walls, John Cena posters, Harry Potter posters, a bed, huge study table, 2 wardrobes, a dressing table.

lol mine too! By the time I graduated high school, my room was C O V E R E D in posters! My mom had finally had enough when I was nineteen, so that was when I finally took them all down.

We moved out after I graduated so my room is finally nice in my opinion.

Hot pink walls, animal posters, white dressers, a net to hang all of my stuffed animals in above my bed, 3-tiered bookshelf that was apart of the wall, shaggy tan carpet....like Kirby threw up in my room and invited Jigglypuff as a witness.

my childhood bedroom was.... awful to say the least. the colour of the walls was a similar shade of blue to the background of the f(x) badge and it's a pretty colour but not one that i wanted to have on my walls. i wasn't allowed to have any posters, instead of that my grandma put up some pictures of religious figures even though i had no idea what they were and my mom didn't bother to argue with her to change that because as a child i spent most of my time outside anyway. other than that i only had some cartoon character stickers on my walls so that they didn't look too empty. i didn't like them at all, but it was the only thing i could have at the moment. when i was 12 i had one poster of a non-kpop band that i love but i couldn't put it up until the age of 16 because my grandma said the vocalist's clothes were too revealing and looking at her every day will have a negative impact on me. also i had a bookshelf with all the dvds i had but most of them were animated movies for children like happy feet or shark tale which i haven't watched in years. it was terrible but i made up for it with the bedroom i have now

Woooooow strict grandma! My mom didn't approve of some of my posters either (especially this one of Nelly that she said looked like he was glaring at her lol), but it's not like she forbade them - she just chose not to look at them whenever she walked in. What does your current room look like?

so you still have the same bed you had when you were a tween? lol no judgment, though - I had my "big girl bed" (the twin bed I transitioned to from my crib, aka the aforementioned white four-post) until I was nineteen, when I FINALLY transitioned to a bigger bed. lol

Regular white paint and bunk beds. Different personalized areas based on each kid.

Small with white walls. It was sort of cramped, but that was mostly because I had a ton of stuff not because it was decorated or anything. It was kind of just a normal room 😅
