Since people already know what the song sounds like, do you think it will have less views without the people checking it out for sheer curiosity or do you think more people will watch it now?
Reveluvs goal was 15M and blinks are getting involved so maybe 25M

I don't think views will be impacted much at all tbh. Those that want to see the MV still will within the first 24hrs of release. They won't avoid it due to a delay lol :).

Obviously the timing of release isn't great compared to it's original time, as most of Europe and the US will be sleeping. I assume it's bad timing for South America too.

It probably going to be slightly less. Most streamers are going to be doing their jobs and that seems to be a large part of the views.

Reveluvs can't stream for shit so it won't make any difference but it killed most of the hype for sure. I was really excited for the MV to come out and hear the song for the first time but nothing came at the end, so it was very disappointing for me.

I don't think SM cares tbh. None of their big groups have historically been great at views. You can say EXO over time but even they've gained views relatively slowly compared to BigBang and BTS. NCT is also usually slow-ish, Shinee too.
SNSD was the only group in its time that did amazingly on Youtube back then.

Anyway yeah, had the MV dropped yesterday, you'd have people checking in and streaming coz they had no idea what it sounded like. Now, people who might not like the song may not be interested, although the ones who love it will repeat it a few times.
