Yes, because when k-idols show support to minority groups, it means that people who support her may also change their view on it as well, like if they were originally anti-lgbtq, or just don't support them, they will see that someone like Sunmi is in support of them and they might even do more research on the matter and see that LGBTQ is completely normal and should have no reason to hate.

Btw she didn't say 'LGBT Queen' in the video, yet on twitter she said she did add Queen on what she said.
My guess is that management told her to say it or that she said because it was starting to go viral.
Plus when she said 'LGBT' it was like she was relieved and had to get it off her chest, that's what I think anyway.
