Did you go to your prom? (1 Viewer)

I went to a private school and our prom was for Juniors and Seniors. Both Junior & Senior had less than 200 students.

I did and it was such a fun night. The theme for our my senior prom was "The Great Gatsby" and it was held at a country club. I went with my boyfriend at the time, and we rented a limo with a group of friends. They did such a great job with all the decor that it really feel like I step into that era. The food was also pretty delicious. After prom, we went to an after party hosted by the school, which was very fun too. It was 4:30 AM by the time I got home, and I was pretty drained.

nooo and i'm actually really depressed about it 😭
i'm kind of a loner so nobody asked me to go....
and usually i don't care about the dances but this one is making me so sad for some reason

My country doesn't really do prom tbh
Like we usually have a highschool ending party, but that's not really anything like prom to be perfectly honest.

BUT if we did have it... I probably would not have gone lmao

Nope.. My mom wouldn’t let me go to Prom with my friends

Instead, she made it up to me by allowing me to skip school on the day of prom. We had lunch at IHOP, bought me a video game at GameStop for my Nintendo DS Lite, and I went to the mall by myself and saw Thor in theaters at a 8:00 PM screening

But I wished I had that prom experience during my senior year of high school

We don't have "proms" in my country we have freshers parties and farewell parties

I had gone to them last year

not old enough to go to junior/senior prom yet. but i would definitely go. but my school did have a freshman/sophomore mixed dance that i did go to w a group of friends

we had one in high school
went with a bunch of friends, but it wasn't like US proms

I did. I remember I was wearing a tuxedo and I had really dark purple dyed hair. I danced like crazy with my best friend lol

I did. I had a magenta ballgown style dress with rhinestones. It was beautiful and I still have it cause it was my first big purchase I ever made. I went with two friends (one female and one male). My guy friend bought me a corsage. We did not go to any prom parties.
