In the 1970s, Scientology started a project called Operation Snow White. The purpose of this was to get rid of negative information about Scientology that the FBI had. These actions included burglary, forgery, bribery, wiretapping, and much much more. In 1977, after a tip off, the FBI conducted one of the largest raids in FBI history. 156 FBI agents were involved, the most ever at that time in history.
