To be fair, what I've learned online is that eating mysterious mushrooms is bad news bears.

Maybe the glow is a sign of "eat and die."

My sister likes foraging for mushrooms and there’s definitely a lot of steps to make sure she’s not accidentally eating something poisonous. But in some parts of the world it’s not as dangerous
