I've had that happen to me when I visited beaches as a child by testing my luck by swimming deeper until my feet could not touch the floor, then I realized I was in currents which could have swept me away to my death if I did not get back to shore immediately. If you find balancing on rocks above the water at a rocky beach hard, you’ll find balancing on slippery invisible underwater rocks while a current pushes you even harder? :sakuwu:
It wasn’t that bad for me luckily. I was wading along/across a river, and the water only reached a bit below my knees. The current wasn’t super strong, but enough to make a difference for balance. My parents, who went further, reached points where my mom had to swim, but they didn’t say anything about it seeming to a dangerous level. In general they were much better than me though, I stuck out like a sore thumb of the tourists in general due to slowness.I've had that happen to me when I visited beaches as a child by testing my luck by swimming deeper until my feet could not touch the floor, then I realized I was in currents which could have swept me away to my death if I did not get back to shore immediately.
