Not at school, but in our second year of college my class (journalism) made our own magazine based around the city and stuff happening on other college campuses connected to ours.

We battled for it in our first year after complaining about how the course was going, so we sat down with the tutors and came up with the idea that the magazine and everything surrounding out would be the focus of our grades. It was a lot of fun.

not in high school because no one bothered to do things like that but in middle school and elementary school we did. i didn't participate in it though, not just because i was too lazy for this but also one of the girls who was in charge of the magazine bullied me so it was better for me to stay away from it
