Just got off a call (after having an email AND IM back-and-forth convo) with a guy who was convinced I can run data analytics. I felt mean being like "don't send that to me, I won't do anything with it, I can't do anything with it, I have no access to data."

I felt mean, but maybe clarity is kindness??

Yeah, most things I can at least see where people are coming from, but some things it's like... how did you get into your head that I was good at this?

My bestie is very handy and so I've learned to be like "I don't know if you actually know this, but you seem like you know a lot so..."

Indeed. I have heard im smart since i can remember and idk who they are talking about. Ive taken iq tests and i get results betweem 87 to 100 im not that smart academically at all.
My smartness is more social smartness but i know im mr simple and i dont feel any shame about that. Ofc i take the title and wear it like a crown cause if mom said it its true

But while I don't know much about kindness I can confidently state that one of the most intelligent things a person can say is 'I don't know'.
