Kpop to me is a lot easier to access and navigate though, since everything is so well organized under companies and generations. This is a large part of its appeal to me.

Music wise, no it's definitely not better. I've found western songs that I've liked more than most kpop songs and kpop songs that I've liked more than most western songs, so it really just depends on the song you find. Plus a lot of kpop song producers are western? So

Depends on what you like. I wouldn't say it's much better, they just took the Western influence and are at least trying to make it their own. Maybe.

I personally prefer KPop, however, I will always listen to Western music a little more but the day we have an idol that sounds like K.Flay I will turn over most likely

K-pop has its own colors especially in trying different genres so they really do stand out. What I've noticed is that music artists in the western scene tend to create based on the genre that they're only good at but I am to speak for everyone so yeah. We all have distinct preferences anyway :)

I rarely listen to any modern western music. Mostly late 90s early 2000s r&b tracks, and some metal stuff but like.. Yes it's 100 times better. I listen to Ariana sometimes though lol

it's unique but no, I think there's good music I love in both
but kpop is more fun, especially when you're a big fan during your teens interacting with other fans, waiting for comebacks, etc

i tend to like kpop more but i do enjoy some western pop as well, like melanie martinez and lady gaga. generally, western pop has strayed from what i enjoy. as for other genres, i cant say i enjoy kpop more than them, especially when it comes to rock and metal. i actually "stan" more rock and metal groups than i do kpop and listen to them way more often.
