i mentioned last night to my family that pop (as far as american music goes at least) is short for popular music and for some reason they all jumped on me at the same time,,im not shocked because they act like pop music is repulsive...but do you agree?

i wouldnt agree because if that were the case this song



wouldnt have charted for 11 weeks a number one and its not a pop song.

So pop music doesn't mean it's going to be popular and a song not being pop does t mean it's going to be unpopular. But the style and it's appeal to the general masses as a result is where it comes from
