I do and I enjoy it apart from the awkwardness of large family gatherings
but for some reason I always feel off on christmas and december in general really

uh idk we just do it because we can get together eat well and kids can get gifts. kind of like an opportunistic christmas lol

Hell yes, I do. It is such a huge thing for my family. That is when all our extended family from both side get-together and hang out and eat good food and celebrate the New Year together. Since my maternal grandfather and all my uncles, aunts and cousin from my mom side because they are all from the UK I don't get to see them as often as my stepdad side of the family.
