I know it's only September, but once the weather turns to autumn here I can't help but think of one of my favourite times of the year: Halloween.

So I was wondering, do you celebrate Halloween? If you do, what is your favourite part? Do you get dressed up?

I used to dress up all of time for school when i was little. We always had Halloween parades to show off our costumes. Nowadays all i want to do is eat candy

Sort of! I've circled back around to finding it a lot of fun, but I think Halloween is most fun when you have friends who are into it too. And I've only just recently found enough like-minded people who are game. We're talking about hitting up some haunted houses this year.

And I've always been a seasonal reader, but I've gotten into horror more this year, so on a personal level, I've been reading a lot of horror lately. I've finished five books in the past month, and started another one today. I'm ready for spooky season.

Totally agree that it is more fun with people who also enjoy it. But I guess I'm one of those friends that will make you like it with my constant nagging lol. I hope you do end up doing the haunted houses! That sounds fun!

Love it! I missed going door to door, but now i get to do it again but my daughter gets the candy lol.

my fav part is probably walking around knocking on all the doors :)

My brothers still young so he does. Last year we made his costume together. It wasn’t perfect but hey, it was homemade

That's so sweet of you to help make a costume! I personally love homemade costumes. They're always so much more creative and detailed.

Young or old, Halloween is for everyone. I have kids in university stop by my house for trick-or-treating. If they enjoy it and put in the effort, why wouldn't they deserve a treat too? Especially for teenagers. They could be off doing worse things, so if they are going around trick-or-treating instead, I say let them have it!
