Hard stans are basically those that sexualize their idols more (of age ones ofc) and actively thirst after them. They're also usually more hardcore about getting concert tickets and albums.
Soft stans on the other hand are people who prefer the cuter sides of idols and typically are more casual I'd say.

I don't know if I'm super into cute/adorable side cause I think it can sometimes go to infantilizing direction. But I don't thirst that much either, not that I never comment if someone looks sexy to me or I don't think I actively sexualise or look for that kind of content of idols. Most of time I'm pretty casual what comes to supporting comebacks and spending. I get into the whole supporting comeback stuff once a while, but most of the time I check the comeback out after the mv drops instead of following everything from teasers. So i guess i'm more soft, but I can be hardcore too.
