Believe it or not, the two times I did as a child, I really didn't enjoy the experiences because of the general awkwardness and uncomfortability.

When I was a child, no one celebrated Halloween in Germany. Nowadays Halloween is still almost only a reason to decorate the gardens.

I used to when I was a kid, but after we moved states (from NC to OH), I stopped bc (a) it was a new area and my parents weren't comfortable with me walking in it at night and (b) I was a teen by our first Halloween in OH anyway. lol
