When you're anticipating something so much that the closer it is, the further it feels?

Some examples would be waiting for your fav's comeback you've been waiting for forever or waiting on your next vacation/break from school/work/other duties to come. It's only a week away but it feels like it's coming SO SLOWLY!!!

That's how I felt about Formula of Love: O+T=<3 to release back in 2021. I was anticipating it so much that it suddenly felt like the time was moving so slow as we got closer to the release date. It hurts so much. It's sort of the opposite of "time flies when you're having fun."
