Do you ever picture book characters contrary to their appearance? (1 Viewer)

In Schindlers List the main character is listed as being tall with blond/light brown hair. This is how I picture him, as Benedict Cumberbatch from Sherlock. Tall yes (though you can't tell here) but definitely not light colored hair

I'll be straight up-I can NEVER picture what a male character looks like if they are described as having blonde hair.

I also struggle to imagine blonde characters lol

I was born blonde. Was I not real until my hair turned brown? lol

Yes

Whenever I'm reading, even if the character has a description attached, I'll always picture them differently. Like, I read this book once where I could only picture the female lead as kind of a Rihanna lookalike. She was described as having fair skin, but yeah - for some reason unknown to me, she seemed like Rihanna's doppelganger!

Yes

you have a droll sense of humor lol

Oh, another example was one of the Hunger Games guys (Gale and Peeta). I don't remember which one it was, but one of them was described as having olive skin and dark hair, and all I could think of was Zayn Malik. lol

Yes-I DO NOT EXIST!

I imagine random for book characters, sometimes I'll imagine them the way they're described and other times completely different :")
