Do you feel guilty borrowing money from your parents? (1 Viewer)

Or at least have them pay for something on your behalf?

I'll give my own examples ig. Last month my dad paid off a big chunk of my school bill, and now I have another school bill that he said he'd pay for. And last week my grandma gave me $50 dollars back after she found out that I paid $50 (of my own money) for my graduation application. I told her no, but she insisted on doing it anyway.

I don't make a lot of money myself, and I'm extremely grateful for the help that I get from my family, but I still feeling guilty having them pay for things for me. Even if I pay half and they pay half I still feel bad and I hate it

Not really, but it's cause I don't really borrow money from them and when I do I pay it back.

no, i mean i currently don't make money on my own but when my mom was my age she didn't either so she's fine with it. but then again i spend literally less than 4-5$ a day so i don't really need to borrow much.

But I feel bad when they try to pay for everything when I visit them

Yes a lot It’s difficult for me to work because my anxiety so even though I work it’s only a few hours each week so I don’t make much but because I help out so much at home and with my mom she still insists on giving me money every week… I’m very grateful for it but I don’t think I really deserve it.
