I absolutely do. I tend to absorb my surroundings with how people feel first and I pick up on that quickly. Being an empath is a long road to get through when you're already sensitive ​

I definitely do. I just get triggered by negative news (that;s why I was so saddened by Liam's death), I'm so sensitive. But I am in group therapy to help with that

I always wanted to go to therapy for it. I hate negative news as well

I don’t think so necessarily. I know in some cases I’m more affected by emotions than many (like when reading about experiences people have had and such) but face to face I don’t think I’m good at figuring out well what nuanced emotions people around me always feel. Obviously I understand the difference between happy and bored and stuff like that. I once did a neuropsych assessment and part of it had me try to identify emotions on images of faces, and I wasn’t in the top 50%, though I wasn’t terrible either, or at least not as much as some areas.

Yes, but I can often be uncertain what that emotion is. I'm not sure how to explain. I struggle with more nuanced emotions

no honestly i have no idea what that would feel like like i can sometimes tell by people's behaviours what they might feel at the moment, but not feel them and especially not more than mine. idk what's the word for that, if there is one

I never thought about it before but it sounds right as I usually can be going with high energy but bad news can drain that energy from me even if it shouldn't really affect me that hard.

Not really, although I do feel extremely drained when old people or animals get hurt.
