I just watched a short by a comedian who learned that his female friend had him saved as "Nope!"

The most nickname-y I get is adding a reference where I know them from. Like "Jackie Book Club"

Yup! My friends usually put in more nicknames in their phone than I do though.
Some examples: Rat, Bagel, Banana
They all have backstories

And this is my brother

A name I use for him more than his real name. I probably only use his real name in professional settings and in front of kids.
My parents have accepted it as well
