We all know we shouldn't be saying the word but then again, it may be really true she got carried away, who knows?
I think people tend to see only the negative in others and really don't give anyone the benefit of the doubt anymore, like why would she want to purposefully offend people, you know? But then again, this is not an apology directed to me by any means so it's not my choice whether this is sincere or not.

I think that the apology is good as in it adressess the issue well, it's not often idols actually go out of their way to apologise for this type of a thing so at least that counts in my book, knowing if it's sincere or not is next to impossible though since we don't know her as a person. Also the idea of her getting carried away is an understandable explanation because not everyone comes across that type of language in their daily lives, even if they do know of it and unless you've made the concious effort to completely block the word out of your mind, I think it's very much possible for someone to make that sort of a mistake.

Korean fans are mostly on her side unfortunately, the shit they are saying about us in regards to this situation is horrible

anyway sm probably made her apologize (or let her if it was her decision) because aespa are supposed to be their international group and they can't afford to have controversies like this so early into their career

Disappointed but not surprised at all, I’m sorry you’re all having to face those too.
It seems like it’s something she asked to do, but SM probably told her what to say when they found out.
