And makes sure you are ok when you do go quiet?

But I need one in real life

Alex used to be that way with me (The one I was talking about in my other posts)
But ever since he got a Boyfriend
I lost that connection with him
I lwky miss having a friend like that
I miss being noticed
I miss the texts saying, 'Hey, you've been quiet the whole time, you alright?"
Or when everyone is ordering food
not even asking me what I want
and he asks me
and recommends what I want to the group
I miss that kind of friend
and it's what I need...

I understand that. Yeah… ever since my sister got a boyfriend it felt like she didn’t pay much attention to me, So I fully understand how you feel. It’s great of you to know that friends you have on the internet isn’t enough, but I myself is kinda lonely too. But some day, you’ll meet a person who understands you. I recently meet a new friend, and we became so good friends so fast, so just believe you’ll get a friend like that irl

I used to miss having that kind of friend, and sometimes even doubted if my friendships were one sided or truly reciprocal. I get what it's like from personal experience. Like other commenters, I also recently made a new friend at work, and we got super close, super fast, but I love being friends with her so far, and she's amazing. Sometimes you meet the best friends when you least expect to. Don't give up on future friends, you'll find your people one day, especially as you grow into and embrace yourself. In the meantime, the best advice I got for finding and making friends, is to be the kind of friend to others that you wish you had yourself. Or basically, treat others the way you want to be treated, and someone will become friends with you because of that one day.
