my sister and i who were both born in the 90's in russia have the smallpox vaccine scar and so do my parents and relatives, but my brother and my other sister who were born in germany in the 00's don't so idk i'm curious

I've never gotten one from any vaccine. I scar super easily so it's kind of odd but I'm not complaining.

only the smallpox vaccine scars afaik, because they used a special two-pronged needle for it, but after smallpox was eradicated they stopped vaccinating people for it so younger people dont have it

yea the needle looks scaryyy, i dont know if i would ever let anyone get near me w that thing as an adult

I have the smallpox one and my older family members, too. But they don't give it anymore.
It's not a nice scar, but hey, they say that the smallpox vaccine will protect us against the monkeypox virus.
