Do you have and use a fanny pack? (1 Viewer)

I had one when I was a kid, but I never got one again even though they're now worn crossbody or whatever. Like might as well just have a crossbody bag.

This question brought to you by: the algorithm, which seems convinced that I'm in the market for a fanny pack from someone. I've seen three separate ads today.

I always carry a fanny pack when leaving the house. Just big enough for my keys, phone, wallet, small multitool, waterproof pen, mini flashlight, and some adhesive plasters. I prefer fanny packs that are comfortable enough to carry crossbody and as a waist pack. It's good to have options.

Never had one. I was more of a crossbody person because I like holding onto the strap behind me.
My dad was the fanny pack person in the house. He carried the entire medicine cabinet in there.
Headaches, sunburn, lack of vitamin c, even periods he had us covered.

Personally wouldnt get one because I'm not a fan of chunky belts and a fanny pack is that plus more. The strap is also too short for me to grab if I wore it like a cross body.

A fanny pack is a must-have on any concert. But expect that security wants to check it, which is perfectly ok.

I have one of those lululemon ones that you can adjust to be a cross-body bag or a fanny pack. I wear it both ways depending on my mood.

I noticed that the VIP's didn't have any security checks other than your ticket but general admission had to have their bags checked.

I feel like concerts are always that balance between having as little as possible so you don't have to carry it everywhere for hours, but not so little that you find yourself going "dammit, I forgot..." I forgot my ID to a concert once, because I was thinking "I just won't buy alcohol" completely forgetting the venue does their own ID check.

And it's always so hot in those places, so you need the water!! And they're so stingy. When I went to see Dreamcatcher, a member of our group had upgraded to do the Hi Touch event right after, and they wouldn't let him buy a water after he came out, even though you know it's no more work than just handing it over and running a card.

I really like going to concerts, but the way concerts are typically run leaves something to be desired...

I always buy a bottle of water in a nearby store before visiting a concert (or I already have it in my car) and have a snack after the concert. The food and drink prices on concerts can be ridiculously high.
