Do you have any favorite groups where every member (past and present) has had a solo debut? (1 Viewer)

By solo debut, I mean they released an album and promoted it. Not just "sang an OST" or a B side on a group album or something.

I was thinking that this is kind of rare, actually.

I feel like Shinee is one of the few that has successfully done this.
And be known for their solos as well as their group releases.

Going through my current faves:

• i-dle: Everyone except Shuhua at this point, but I don't know that she has a strong interest in it.
• NMIXX: No solo debuts yet.
• Fifty Fifty: No solo debuts yet.

Past favorites:

• Big Bang: Yes. There are probably people at this point who are more familiar with G-Dragon than with his group.
• FTIsland: No, and they never will at this point as Seunghyun retired from the industry last year and moved out of Korea. Hongki is really the only viable soloist in the group (no offense to the others).

I'll leave it there, because I know there are other groups other people would mention!

It's kind of wild how hard that is to achieve, actually! Especially at big companies where even the least popular member is still significantly more popular than smaller groups, but that can still be difficult to sustain everyone having their own solo music career.

Daesang's finally started releasing stuff in Korea since the reunion, but people still remember him for his trot songs and his solo music is popular in Japan. I'd do anything to see 'shut up' live. just once

Everyone and their mom loves Taeyang XD Who wouldn't honestly. Declared his love in a biggest way possible, eyes nose lips

TOP's Doom Dada is still referenced. Hopefully the rumor of TOP releasing music is true

Txt: Yeonjun and Beomgyu, no signs from the other members on future debuts
Lovelyz: Ryu Sejeong had one
Oh My Girl: YooA
Onf: None, i think Hyojin technically had one during military enlistment but that was more fanservicey, I'd like to see solo promotions from them it's about time
Golcha: Joochan is doing stuff but other than that none

I think one of the issues with ALL members doing a solo is it must be prefaced that all members WANT to be a soloist...

there are many situations where I'm guessing not all the members want to release solo music...and that they would prefer to go a different route than music such as variety stuff, modelling, acting etc etc
