To me that happens sometimes, I have not figured out the logic behind it yet

Tbh to me it feels like when I know more about an idol and like their personality, they look prettier and prettier. I don’t know why though, but there’s few idols who don’t get prettier when I learn more about them

I think that's because beauty and prettier and visuals etc is subjective...
what we are attracted to differ from person to person - maybe it's face, body, personality, wealth, job, connections etc etc

for example I've met some supermodel levels of pretty people but they are as dumb as a doorknob and can't hold a conversation and that slowly makes them less attractive or less pretty in a way - and vice versa I've met people who aren't initially pretty but get prettier as you get to know them more

yeah that makes sense! I remember I watched some documentary or something where they mentioned, we get more attracted to the people around us, so when we lived in small tribes and villages, this helped to make sure people would still find a partner!

I guess with idols it's kinda similar, as when you start watching contents with them, you get to know them better and kinda the same effect happens?

yeah that also makes sense too!

If a person only infuriates you, you probably can't see them in a very positive light anymore

I was rather new into K-Pop and one of the first aespa MVs I saw was 'Dreams Come True'. I initially thought that her face was digitally retouched because she looked too perfect to be real.

Nope, she's real. She's 'just' one of the most beautiful K-Pop idols ever!
