Not reoccurring dreams, but I have dreams that take place within the same storyline/canon lol

It's not uncommon. I have quite a few sequel dreams in the past.

I've also had the odd occasion where I've woken up, fallen back asleep and resumed the same dream that I was having before I woke up.

I’ve had a certain dream twice, but both times were long ago. In the dream, my mom went swimming and got eaten by a giant squid

I often dream about spiders. Even when they are gigantic, they never scare me. Maybe the spider is my spirit animal. The Navajo believe that spiders are a source of wisdom and help heroes on their journeys.
A spider net in a dream could be a dreamcatcher too. Well, everything is connected.
