My family moved to the US, and a bit over a decade later my mom’s best friend from childhood (they were from the same little town) moved to the same state in the US. It always seemed interesting to me that they grew up together and now live near each other in a whole different country. And I know that it’s probably isn’t a complete coincidence, and that my mom moving may have influenced her friend decision to move specifically to that state, but there were still so many times where one of the could have made a different choice that would separate them, but didn’t.
