Some people mistakenly believe that a vomitorium was a room Romans would go to after eating in order to throw up so they could continue eating. In reality, it was a type of entrance/exit in places like stadiums and amphitheaters that allowed a large group of people to leave as a mass after big events. A bit less interesting, but also a little less gross.
