Generally I used to love them but nowadays it feels like it takes a spot in the album and is replacing a song. Albums nowadays are so short

When it's done well yes. Like intros can set moods and I think OEC and Infinite does that well, but if it's like a shortened song then no ._.

I like them and do not mind actually.
But, I was surprised when Purple Kiss's Hide & Seek EP did not have it so the album felt kind of hollow to me.
So, it seemed like RBW kind of was slacking in that album because it was missing.
Thankfully, the future albums did have intros.
