I used to, but not anymore, with kimchi and (I guess) tteobokki being the exception - only when their spice levels are mild though.

Though, unfortunately, there's a restaurant my friend group likes to go to that thinks "no spice" means "no flavor" which is not the same thing at all.

My dad's tolerance is crazy so I was trained by him o.o. But he also likes his food scalding hot like drinking fresh coffee out of the pot.

I'm not up to that level.

Totally not!! Like I tried to order a garlic fried rice, no spice, and they just gave me plain rice. Heat =/= flavor!

I'd do a "spice level 1" if they had anything in between "absolutely no flavor whatsoever" and "your mouth is on fire" but no such luck. :|

It depends. Yesterday I made a soup using leftover cabbage, chicken broth, rice noddles, sesame oil, soy sauce, spicy chili flakes, and snack-sized seaweed sheets.

Those chili flakes are spicy but I survived
