Do you like fish & chips? (1 Viewer)

[lily]

I do. And happy national fish & chips day

[athenaaa]

I don’t

[Magician]

It's probably one of the most popular dishes in my home country (at least for foreigners)
I personally think it’s okay, nothing special

[Lovely_Cornchips]

I do!

[Ahsoka]

No because I hate fish

[StirFriedPanda]

Yes!

[ani07]

no, for several reasons:

- its classical made of shark flesh, dogfish (squalus acanthias) to be exact
- it was forbidden to make it out of dogfish because the numbers of that shark were decreasing to a critical amount,
so it was made of cod for the last 5 years
- because the numbers were recovering and because of the russian/urkrain war its allowed to fish dogfish again, but its still red listed (so animal activists didnt understand that decission tbh)
- and shark flesh is poisonous, so I wouldnt eat it for that reason too
- I`m also vegan

oh and, fish in general isnt healthy. kids and pregnant woman should not eat fish, because fish is contaminated with heavy metals
