Do you like it when groups have a storyline? (1 Viewer)

I feel like its grown in popularity over the years and I understand its appeal. I used to be really into following BTS’ storyline but over the years I just kind of grew bored of it and trying to understand all of it. Other groups I follow also have storylines and while I think it’s interesting (specifically in the MV’s) I no longer dive deep into the theories anymore.

Was never into it but some ppl are and it’s nice for them to have that. Just don’t let it get in the way of cool mv scenes and I’m good

EXO tend to dip in and out of their storyline, but they reference their superpowers in songs, choreo and concerts subtly.

i don't mind as long as it's not too confusing but i never really follow these storylines, when it comes to the mvs i'm here mostly for aesthetics. i love aespa but i'm not getting into that kwangya sh*t no matter how much sm forces it on me

I enjoy it. it makes it even more exciting when waiting for a comeback, and keeps you busy during hiatuses since you're figuring everything out and enjoying the entire meaning

This, especially when it's obvious people are reaching. At that point it's just like what are they doing, it's not that deep

I think it's fine when you only add to it when you have something good but with groups who make having a storyline their identity and they feel the need to add to it with every comeback it just ends up a convoluted mess usually

I do like storylines. It's a reason why I loved Dreamcatcher; but it's not a reason strong enough to stand on its own.
