During Uni i was so worried , i was working the day before when i got a pretty harsh comment from a person (unrelated to the project). I felt tired and the added comment make me burst into tears, so much so my roommates had to cheer me on. I couldnt finish the project i asked my teacher if i could present the next time, and he said sure it' s no problem.

So yeah ... i do hate it

I hated it at first but towards the end of highschool i loved it cz i knew everyone and it was fkin hilarious (not for the teacher tho lol)

Nope I HATE it Back when I was in high school, I had an exam in Dutch which was a presentation about like 6 books or so that you had to read. (I didn’t even read 6 books but let’s forget that hehe).
I just totally skipped it and didn’t show up. Ended up with a 1, which messed up my average score. But still had a good average score cuz I slayed in languages

This is upsetting, Im glad you had some understanding teacher and classmates.....
I had 2 teachers too who would understand my inner fear and embarrassment that I felt like I would face....cause I speak low and cant look directly at others.....It's nice when you find those type of people

I dont like it, I get completely look upon too much especially those who dont like me or see me as unpopular to them....
But I feel comfortable in a smaller group with people I can somewhat talk to

I used to study translation studies which required that a lot and i would get severe anxiety from it.
I switched to med school and thankfully we dont have to do it here at all.

I'm so glad we both got ppl who understood, it just seems so scary especially when your grade is dependant on it

I think the first (few) times it can be really hard since public speaking and presenting can be daunting but with enough practice one should be confident enough to get through it without crying
