I've been using photoshop for.... 13 years? I started in gimp wayy back. I think I've been certified for almost a decade now too.. even went to photoshop world in 2012 lol
I guess I just wish I had more patience/fun doing professional graphic design, because I know I could make pretty good bank with that -I just hate doing it. Making business cards and pamphlets and logos and shit just saps my soul man
Also I hate vectoring, and would rather go through extra hoops doing illustration shit in photoshop for no reason other than me being stubborn af lol
It would also be nice if I could get over my obsession with weird glitch edits, cuz the stuff I use to make was so much more versatile xD

Are you sure? Anybody can do it and if you would like to learn, you can just start off with a website editor

Do you mean you got a diploma in graphic design or something?
The style you posted in spoilers.... Ugh I remember that style from other forums back in the day.... If you didn't do shit in that style on most forums, you were not cool and good enough
Don't like using smudge tool etc
I am way better at using the eraser etc, I love a good blend.... Don't ask me to smudge.... I'll smudge yo face if so

And you do make me curious how your stuff would look if you didn't do your obsession style as you called it or your old style

Yeah I've been editing for 10 years I think. I also had a graphic designer job (I left the country, so I left the job too). I've been mostly using Photoshop, but I started using a lot of Illustrator lately. Ah and when I was working I had to use Corel, I didn't like it.
I'm currently working on my illustration skills and I would like to start making logos. I only made one so far

Corel is the advanced paint shop pro right

sometimes, but the thing with me is that i often start new edits and then end up never finishing them or never sharing them anywhere in case i actually manage to finish something. also nowadays i just don't have the motivation to do anything, not just edits. actually i looked through some of my old posts on this forum and it looks like i did some edits last year. i'm trying to erase everything that happened in december 2019 from my mind and looks like it works because i don't even remember making these :wonugl:

i do make edits but mostly on mobile cuz i needed to start simple ive barely started on pc so they kinda bad. i mean my edits are bad in general cuz the motivation is non existent after 2 seconds of process

Are you using gimp on pc or something? Maybe try do some tutorials, might help a lot
I used to do them often, there is even forums that are all about this and post lots of tutorials

Nahh, I took some PS classes in hs (and didn't learn anything new lol) but they had us take the official certification test...thing
and omG I use to be such a master with the smudge tool, my brush blend modes were spicy af xD
I use to just sit around making space art like this with it

I always see ppl hating on it though and I never got why lol.

I didn't use paint shop pro so I can't confirm but I see it as a mix between Illustrator and InDesign I think
