Do you prefer when MV’s are… (2 Viewers)

Shot on an actual set that needed to be built or do you prefer when they choose to shoot the MV outside? Or a mix of the two.

I prefer a little bit of both. Sets can be really great and it works best when it comes to weather conditions and lighting but for some groups I feel like some MV sets look a little similar to a previous comeback, which isn’t their fault. Shooting outdoors can also look super pretty and I like outdoor shoots a lot when it comes to a big dance break.

EXO have pretty much lived in sets since debut. It’s rare for them to see sunlight, SM let them have their vitamin D

I just had a tangential observation on discord-the MV of ONEWE 'STAR' which seemed to rpt them standing in a field playing their instruments. Now im only into them since a few mths ago, so it seems egregipusly repetitive to hv this so soon after last time. Understandable, but shows lack of investment, either budget or creativity.

Good thing for me is tat i dont rlly care either way, as long as the song/MV r good(subjectively, tat is). If others care abt storylines/expensive sets n other stuff fine.Like yeah, for BP n other ggs i expect some high end shit n quality, but tats cos of expectations built up by them ya know. If they gave bare bones mvs this yr(as long as they gave new, good music/songs-i hope id be happy to get even that, but unlikely tat BP has even a single cb in December 2021 so over 1 yr without a comeback. In light of tat, a indoor filmed MV or outside filmed MV seems superfluos to hv an opinion on(at least for my part). Just give us a tenable return on expectations, but ill be patient n not think too much abt the mv. Im only thinking abt this cos it was brought up now-tangentially; i actually hadnt any expectations for most of 2021 until i realused it was almost end november n there wasnta cb in over a yr(or not in a full calendar yr for first time since debut).statement of observation over.

Both are fine if it's well done
