Doesn't really matter because I can fall asleep anywhere as long as I'm comfortable but there should be a little background noise. I can't fall asleep in complete silence.

lights off, i only turn them on when i wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep because of some thoughts i don't want to have. like a few days ago i watched a video about disturbing characters from children's shows and whenever i closed my eyes i would see one of them or today i had an old polish song that i know because of my neighbours stuck in my head at 3am and it wouldn't let me sleep so i just gave up and started my day earlier
